Hi! I’m Kavya.

I'm a multidisciplinary graphic designer and illustrator based in Melbourne, with a passion for creating user-centred visuals.

My work spans branding, campaign design, digital design, packaging, wayfinding, and illustration; whether it’s crafting shelf ready retail packaging, digital user experiences or designing spatial experiences that guide and delight.

After graduating from RMIT University and receiving awards like the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence, I’ve worked across a range of roles, from designing licensed packaging and POS displays for major retailers at Headstart International, to building my own fashion label, Mulberry Chronicles, where I created original prints, ecommerce campaigns, and pop-up store displays.

I bring a background in commerce and analytics and a strategic lens to retail design, drawing on insights from user behaviour, sales metrics, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver targeted visual outcomes. I’m fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and the nitty gritty of print production, with a knack for turning concepts into beautifully executed final artwork, ready for retail stores or the exhibition space.

Lately, I’ve been freelancing on branding and wayfinding projects and am on the lookout for a creative team where I can contribute, collaborate, and keep growing.

Outside of design, you’ll often find me photographing street style or exploring art fairs. I’m motivated by thoughtful collaboration, clear communication and the satisfaction of working with cross-functional teams to transform big ideas into tangible, standout results.
